Sensor-Based Sorting & Control 2018

March 6th, 2018 to March 7th, 2018

The eighth expert conference “Sensor-Based Sorting & Control” will take place in Aachen, Germany from March 6th to 7th, 2018 addressing new developments and applications in the field of automatic sensor separation techniques for primary and secondary raw materials. The conference provides a platform for plant operators, manufacturers, developers and scientists to exchange know-how and experiences.

The congress is hosted by the Department of Processing and Recycling (I.A.R.), the Unit for Mineral Processing (AMR) of RWTH Aachen University, both being members of the Aachen Know-How Centre Resource Technology (AKR), with organizational support by the RWTH International Academy. Scientific supervisors are Professor Thomas Pretz and Professor Hermann Wotruba.

Researchers and practitioners in the field of sensor-based sorting are invited to submit an abstract. Authors of accepted abstracts will be asked to submit full papers for the conference proceedings. All topics are for oral presentation at the conference.
