Department of Processing and Recycling becomes Department of Anthropogenic Material Cycles
With the change of head the Department of Processing and Recycling has become the Department of Anthropogenic Material Cycles (ANTS). This strengthens the focus of modeling and integrated sustainability assessment at the department. With its previous expertise, the institute is one of the leading research institutes in Europe in the field of mechanical and sensor-based processing technology. ANTS searches and analyses solutions and methods to make anthropogenic material flows circulatory. The department combines modeling and evaluation of processing and recycling processes with a view to entire product systems and life cycles in terms of a circular economy and complements this expertise with technical demonstration.
